Run in the New Year with RunTex and all of your running buddies. Meet us at the South First Street Bridge at 10:00 p.m. on December 31 for the “First Night Austin New Year’s Eve Run.”
Ring in the New Year Austin style! The run is two miles and should get you ready to enjoy the festivities of First Night Austin celebration!

Cruise into the New Year on an amazing one of a kind collectors item Vespa

local artist Sheri Mays and autographed by filmmaker Richard Linklater!
Complete Rules/Guidelines:
Purchase your tickets during First Night at our tent outside City Hall, hope to see you there!
Tickets cost $25 each or 5 for $100.
The odds are based strictly on the number
of tickets sold.
Grand Prize: A custom-painted LS-150 Vespa, painted by
local artist Sheri Mays and autographed by filmmaker Richard Linklater.
The winner of this unique Vespa will be announced on Thursday, December
31st, 2009 at 11:30 p.m. at City Hall during First Night Austin.
The winner must be 18 years of age or older to win.
The winner does not need not be present to win.
The winner must claim the Vespa by noon on January 15th. If the winner
fails to claim the Vespa by this time, the ticket will be nullified and
First Night Austin will immediately hold a second drawing.
Ticket purchase does not include entry into the Long First Night Event.
Taxes, title, and license fees not included. The winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes and for license, registration, and insurance.
