Volunteer to staff First Night launch party for media and sponsors November 29th, 2007 5:00p-9:00p (all or part) Set up, serve, take down, tidy up.
Volunteer to staff pre-Event publicity activities at H.E.B. and Central Market stores December 8, 2007 9:30a-12:30p Organize and lead craft and entertainment activities for children and families.

Provide general information and answer questions about the event as you roam. Helpful if you carry your own cell phone during your shift so you can call Volunteer Headquarters if needed.
Assist artists with their interactive installations or workshops.
Count attendance at indoor venues to maintain maximum capacity. Hand-held counter to be provided.
Involves lifting of sandbags, coordinating signage, or delivering, as part of event setup and teardown.
Responsible for managing all aspects of a performance venue; liaison with the site representative and other site volunteers.
Sell First Night t- shirts and posters and give information to the public.
Assist with parking and transportation services.
Assist with staging, starting, pacing and ending the Grand Procession.
